So we have all this new gadgetry, but what do we do with it? Take this poll. Should we stay traditional AM/FM focused or do we go off the beaten path and try and create something unique that everyone can enjoy?

I believe that, awesome as XM might be for a national audience, this station is not quite ready for that sort of exposure. However, it would serve the VCU area, as well as the rest of the RVA area, better to have a high power FM/AM signal that can be accessed by anyone with a radio. The short-wave band, although cheaper to operate, would only limit the potential target audience to those within that small range. Podcasting, tedious as the music aspect may be until all artists would be willing to allow it, I believe would also be a good method as well.
