After stalemate through 90 minutes between both teams, the game went into overtime where La Salle had two great chances to end the game, but goalkeeper Ryan Jones (replaced Audrey Sanderson in the 2nd half) and VCU’s backline defense fought hard to keep those balls from crossing into the net, forcing double overtime.
