It’s officially summer! And with the rising temperatures come this seasons sessions of the Mainstream.

 

Coming on every other monday (hopefully), it’s just Cory, maybe  a guest or two, ranting about topics for an hour or so.

 

Tune in tomorrow at 2pm for a session entitled “Funny Ha-ha.”

The iTunes Surge has Begun!

This may may be a bit ex post facto, but in case you aren’t subscribed to WVCW on one of your favorite social media sites, then you missed the good news: we have 7 shows on iTunes!

 

As I said before, a couple days late, but still a momentous feat! After almost a year of trying to figure this out, we now have in place a simple system of putting things on iTunes. Soon enough– sometime before next semester hopefully– we should have most of these great WVCW productions on the largest podcasting forum around.

 

Till then, subscribe to the shows that are up! Just type in WVCW into the search bar and all our shows should appear as if retrieved by some type of 21st century magic.

 

So in conclusion, support college radio and the hardworking students who make it happen.

The Mainstream was approved through iTunes today.

Search for the artist “WVCW” tomorrow and make sure to subscribe.

I’ll be updating the site tomorrow with a convenient link!
Congrats to theBreakdown and The Mainstream for being approved by Mr Jobs.
He apparently has a thing for shows beginning with definite articles.

 

We’ll be seeing Rock Island Line, Mr Xcitement’s Rated R Circus, TBD, 32-BiT, Dirty Dog Juice Gang, You’re Probably Right and the J-Lowdown soon enough!

So, it’s about 11PM and the crew is all ready. We’ve got the bags all packed, the grappling hooks tied and the night vision goggles have fresh batteries.

What am I talking about? Fresh tomorrow morning, we’ll have updated iTunes submissions for theBreakdown, You’re Probably Right, The Mainstream, 32-Bit and the Dirty Dog Juice Gang.

 

32-Bit’s ENTIRE back catalogue will be available. So will theBreakdown’s. You’re Probably Right is debuting an iTunes LOGO and The Dirty Dog Juice Gang is our first MUSIC show we’ve submitted.

 

Insider baseball? Maybe, but news none the less.

iTunes was an idea I’ve been pushing since last summer and now that we’ve got our shows appearing I feel like I’ve had a child. Subscribe, tell your friends to subscribe, and listen!
