About the host: Born in the nation’s capital and raised in Northern Virginia, I’m currently a freshman at VCU pursuing a degree in Journalism. Ethnically speaking, I’m Pakistani, where most of my extended family members reside. I have one older brother who’s also a college student. As a prospective journalism student, broadcast is my concentration in the major. With my admiration and respect for the major you never know, I could be the next CNN co-host!
