The BeaconHill Project is one of the longest running shows WVCW. The title has absolutely nothing to do with the great city of Boston or the heartwarming sitcom “Teen Wolf”. BeaconHill is actually part of Brandon’s old online screen name in college. For him, the name represents what he wants this music to do, which is to be light in the hip hop world. That light for him is God. Occasionally he will have a guest join him in the studio, but most of the time he’ll let the music do the talking. You’ll hear songs that are thought provoking, songs that will make you dance, and songs that’ll take you back to the golden era of hip hop.

Show Host Bio

Brandon Herbin is a native of Richmond, VA. He graduated from VCU with a degree in Urban Studies and Planning. He currently works at VCU as the office manager for the Division for the Health Science Diversity. While He was a student at VCU, he was member of The Black Awakening Choir, where he served as the Business Manager for a year. Before joining the WVCW family, he worked at WFTH Faith Radio (1590AM) in Richmond, VA. He’s always had a love for music and production. WVCW has given him the opportunity to have creative control over the music that he wants to play. In my downtime, he enjoys watching movies, spending time with family and friends, dancing, and of course, listening to music.
