VCU makes it 14 straight wins

Sophmore, Vicky Giommarini, recorded a team high 19 kills in the Rams’ 14th straight win against the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks. The Rams opened the game with a strong 25-19 set win, but struggled in the following set, losing 18-25. They came out strong in the following two sets after losing the second. They won the third set 25-17 and clinched the match in a thrilling final set, winning 27-25. The Rams now move to a 17-2 record on the season, with a 7-0 record at home. VCU returns to conference play on Friday when they play Duquesne at the Siegel Center.
