Dirty Dog Juice Gang takes it’s name from no one and it’s concept from John Peel. Just as the famous British DJ discovered bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Huggy Bear, the DDJG crew unveil the richness of the RVA music community. Each week we feature a different artist and have them play songs and answer questions.
On Air Time: Saturdays 2-3pm
Host: Claire Morra & Sam Roots
About the Host: Claire Morra is an activist, musician, and a very serious Women’s Studies major. She fronts the indie rock revolving door outfit, Moral Puppetry. Morra has racked up certificates from Berklee College of Music and Omega Recording Studios. She serves as WVCW’s General Manager.
About the Host: Sam Roots is an English major and active contributor to the Mesh Media publication The Horn. He is the visual director for Dirty Dog Juice Gang, taking video and stills of our performing guests. He can be found on Facebook.
If you would like to be a guest on DDJG or represent someone who would, contact Claire at hello@wvcw.org
