US judge Brett Kavanaugh is refusing to withdraw his nomination after sexual misconduct allegations have damaged his bid for the Supreme Court.
In an interview with Fox News Monday, Kavanaugh maintained his innocence.
Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, are set to testify Thursday.

The Virginia Department of Corrections has issued a policy change prohibiting women from wearing tampons or menstrual cups while visiting inmates. The DOC cites that feminine hygiene products serve as an ideal way of concealing contraband.
The ACLU has criticized the policy stating it could discourage family and friends from visiting.
The change becomes effective next month.

The Richmond SPCA has received 14 dogs from the Darlington Humane Society in South Carolina since Hurricane Florence. The dogs are all between 30 to 60 pounds and are not yet available for adoption.
