Robert S. Mueller’s investigation found no evidence that President Trump or any of his aides coordinated with the Russian government during the 2016 election interference, according to a summary of the special counsel’s findings.Mr. Mueller, who spent nearly two years investigating Moscow’s determined effort to sabotage the last presidential election, and found no conspiracy despite evidence of offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign. 

This morningat 12:38 am, Richmond and VCU police received the report of a shooting at West Cary and North Laurel Streets. Upon arrival, officers located a male that had been shot. Witnesses reported that a black 4 door sedan had driven by and an occupant of that vehicle shot the victim. Police have increased patrols in the area. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact VCU police.

Dorothy Height, the Richmond-born civil rights activist, March on Washington coordinator and receiver of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, was honored Sunday with a state historical marker unveiled in the Blackwell neighborhood where she spent her early childhood. The marker stands at the Hull Street Branch library, at the corner of Hull and 14th streets.

A woman was arrested Saturday after pulling out a gun during a fight at Huguenot High School. Richmond police say the a fight among members of a dance competition resulted in the gun being pulled out. Officers arrested the woman, searched the school, and found no other threats.
