VCU’s Volleyball Team kept its winning streak alive and kicked off the VCU Invitational with a dominant win over Bowling Green in 3 straight sets.

The match was never in doubt, as VCU won each set 25-15, 25-12, and 25-16. Alicia Kandler led the Rams with 12 kills during the match. VCU held near wire-to-wire leads in all three sets, only losing the lead one time in the second set.

Both teams look to find victories in their next games Saturday at the Siegel Center as the VCU Invitational continues on. VCU (11-2) looks to continue their winning streak against Seton Hall and Northwestern, at 1pm and 7pm respectively. Bowling Green looks to rebound in their remaining tournament games before moving on to their conference schedule.
