All of it.

Yesterday was Disney’s big “Investor Day” where they announced a whole slate of new content that they’re planning to release in the coming few years. For starters, The Official Buzz Lightyear origin story, Ice Age is getting a series, Big Hero Six, Moana, Zootopia, and The Princess and The Frog are getting their own Disney+ series, and that is just the tip of Disney’s streaming iceberg.

The biggest news of yesterday came from Lucasfilm, where they announced a slew of new Star Wars content. The current minds behind the hit series The Mandolorian, John Favreau and Dave Filoni, will be creating two new live action series ‘Ahsoka’ and ‘Rangers of the New Republic’. Cassion Andor is getting his own series, if you don’t remember he was the male lead in Rogue One, which in all honestly looks really cool.

A new series about a young Lando Calrissian is coming to Disney+ starring Donald Glover, reprising his role from ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’. A new spin off of Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series entitled ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ will also be coming to Disney+ from Lucasfilm Animation.

The biggest announcement for me was the news that Hayden Christiansen will be returning as Darth Vader in the new Obi Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor, reuniting the iconic duo from the prequels. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
