Whether you’re VCU staff, faculty, a student, or otherwise – if you’re part of the great university that is VCU, we want to hear from you!

Big News!
Thursday, October 15th, 2009We’ve decided we’ve had enough with our music scheduling system, and have opened up the entire WVCW library for you to listen to.
This means that we have become truly free format, allowing for more possibilities with the way we play our music.
This also means that we need some help with deciding what to play- definitely call in a request, send us a playlist, or even come here and become apart of our staff!

Mandatory Meeting(s)
Monday, September 28th, 2009There will be a mandatory Full Staff Meeting on Wednesday, October 7, at 8pm. There will be a mandatory Exec Staff Meeting on Sunday, October 4, at 8pm.
If you’re an official WVCW staff member, you will be required to attend – notify Tom (hello@wvcw.org) immediately if you have a conflict with this.
New Music Meetings
Sunday, September 20th, 2009Alright guys and gals,
What exactly is a music meeting? My view for these music meetings is everyone getting together and express opinion.
I’ll play music that I recieved to you guys and you give me your honest opinion about it. (It kicks ass! It sucks! My grandma would love it! This needs to burn!, etc, etc.) Think of it as your chance to have some say around here. Plus, I want you guys to give me opinions, if you got someone that you think deserves to be on air…bring a copy of their music and we can decide as a group.
Got something you want to share with me? Bring it!!! Like I said, I want us to work together…
This use to be a common thing back in the day at WVCW..its time for it to be resurrected.
I plan on this happening on Sept 30th (Next Wed.) at 6 pm (or around 7 if people want me to move the time back an hour). Be There!!!
