In a battle of two teams from the A-10, the VCU Rams and the St. Joseph Hawks would play on a great sunny Friday.

Despite the Rams leading in shots on goal 16-8, they would fall to the Hawks 4-0. Twelve of those shots would come from Emily McNamara, including six of them being on target.

Before the half, Spencer Tossone had three shots back-to-back-to-back on goal, but none of them went in. At halftime, the score was 2-0 in favor of the Hawks.

In the second half, the Hawks would go up 3-0 when Quinn Maguire tipped a shot in from Katherin Bentz. Maguire again would score in the 59th minute bringing the lead up to 4-0.

McNamara would have three more shot attempts before the game saw its conclusion. However, none made it in the net.  VCU would fall to 8-2 on the season while St. Joseph’s improved to 9-2.
